Pure automation technology: For well-known vehicle manufacturers, Schigan builds welding cells for the production of subcomponents of the bodyshell by means of spot welding and undertakes planning, production, assembly and commissioning. Due to the in-depth planning, the main goal, a significant cycle time increase, could be achieved across the board - in a finely tuned interaction with offline programming on the customer side.

In addition to the feasibility of the given cycle time, above all, the clean, exact production was the focus of the order. The planning was particularly demanding, which was implemented throughout in 3D. All conditions of the periphery were subjected to an in-depth examination by means of simulation - for example robot accessibility etc. The very limited space available for the system could thus be used optimally.
